Two Big Announcements: WannaBeA books available worldwide, and CCSP Practice Question Videos for New Exam Outline

I've just created some brand-new practice question videos, aligned with the Exam Outline that takes effect 01 AUG 22. Every sub-topic is addressed by at least one question. I've loaded the videos for Domains 1-4, and should 5-6 up by next week. I'll also be loading a remix of the questions, for two full, 125-question practice exam videos.

As an introductory, because not everything is loaded yet, I'm offering 30-day access to the videos for $15. Use the discount code: INTROCCSPPRAC at checkout.

A week from now, they go up to full price: twenty bucks for 30 days of access. Good luck, and study hard!

Online WannaBeA CISSP class (live)

Interested in the next WannaBeA CISSP class? Here's how it's going to work:

- I'm running it at a 75% discount: $250 per student, nonrefundable

- In return, I'm going to record the class; all students will have to sign a waiver releasing any video/audio/text captured from them during the class-- waivers will be sent after payment is received, if signed waiver is not returned before class start date, you will not be admitted to class and your payment will be forfeit

- Class will run 8-10 pm US Central time, 14-17 FEB, 21-24 FEB, 28 FEB, and 01 MAR 2022 (20 hours of class time, total), via WebEx

- Access to the recorded class will be made for sale to future students (any students in the live class get lifetime access to the recording)

- Class size will be limited to the first 15 who pay the class fee; payment may be made via PayPal to: ben@benmalisow.com (if anyone tries to pay after the first 15 have been registered, I'll decline the transaction, so you won't pay if you don't get into the class)

Come and join us for a piece of history: the first recorded WannaBeA CISSP class.

Possible discount on another CISSP course...

We've been running the online (live) class this week, and everyone seems to be having fun (especially me)...I know there were some people interested in attending but weren't able to make it for this session. I'm considering offering another one free, or at deep discount, soon after this one is done, and I'm trying to gauge interest.

Here's the catch: I'm going to offer a reduced price, but, in return, I'm going to record the class and make the recordings available as a self-study course online (probably through Udemy, like the WannaBeA SSCP and CCSP courses). Would you be willing to take the course at a discount, with the understanding that your username/chat/voice/video feed (if you choose to use those tools during class) would be shared with future students?

Trying to determine if this is viable....feel free to respond here, or shoot me a private message or email: ben@benmalisow.com.

New year, new courses, new brand

I’ve been blissfully unemployed for the past six months…so I wrote three books, created three courses, and created self-paced videos for two of them. I am proud to announce the launch of the WannaBeA brand of educational materials.

Eventually, I hope to have many courses, spanning a variety of disciplines and certifications. For now, the three that are available are: SSCP, CCSP, and CISSP.

Everything can be found on the brand website: wannabeacissp.com.

I need to thank the people that worked on this project alongside me:

Robin Cabe, who edited and formatted all the videos for the recorded courses.

Rachel Ribando-Gros, the graphic designer who came up with the fantastic logos and promotional materials.

Luke Ahmed, Prashant Mohan, and Matthew Snoddy, who reviewed and did tech edits for the CISSP material.

Lyron Andrews and Mohammed Malki, who reviewed and did tech edits for the CCSP material.

Mikael Mintenko and Matthew Snoddy, who reviewed and did tech edits for the SSCP material.

The recorded courses are now available on Udemy; if you have access to a Udemy Business account, you should be able to view the material. If you don’t, you can purchase access to the courses via a standard individual Udemy account.

Live courses (online) will be offered in the following weeks. I am thinking of launching a pilot class, free of charge, for the CISSP material, first. If you’re interested in taking the class, please respond here, or message me, or shoot me an email, or join the conversation on the subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/WannaBeACISSP/).

Thanks again, and I look forward to helping you with whatever you WannaBeA.
